Ascorti was founded by Roberto Ascorti in 1980 when he decided to completely devote himself to creating pipes. The "New Dear" finish is a signature Ascorti style known as a "wax drip" or "melting wax" motif. It features deep, craggy hand-carved textures meant to resemble wax spilling over the side of a candle. It features Reverse the Calabash system.
