Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe manufacturer. Founded in Nuremberg in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger & Carl August Ziener. The company has evolved into a globally recognized brand known for innovation, while remaining a family led business through generations of the Eckert family.
The new Ferro series takes a distinctive approach: rather than calling it an application, it's referred to as - tongue-in-cheek - to the “world’s first pipe with a silver-plated stem.” It’s precisely this elegant, silver-like appearance that defines Ferro at first glance. The bowl’s character comes from an elaborate, handcrafted two-tone staining process in which we specifically highlight the grain. A high-quality polish completes the refined shine.
