Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe manufacturer. Founded in Nuremberg in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger & Carl August Ziener. The company has evolved into a globally recognized brand known for innovation, while remaining a family led business through generations of the Eckert family.
The Figo series was released as part of Vauen's limited summer novelty collection and is available in two finishes: brushed and sandblasted. The brushed version gently highlights the light structure of the oak, while the sandblasted finish brings out the grain in a relief-like structure. This unique series highlights the natural growth rings and texture of oak wood. They tell a story of growth, strength and patience – and, through their revealed structure, make every pipe unique. A briar wood insert in the bowl and shank, together with a lively colored fishtail mouthpiece, completes the design.
