Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe manufacturer. Founded in Nuremberg in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger & Carl August Ziener. The company has evolved into a globally recognized brand known for innovation, while remaining a family led business through generations of the Eckert family.
The unique design of the 2026 pipe of the year was created by a very talented young employee in Vauen's manufactory. The vibrant, artistically designed lines create impressive accents in a seemingly playful manner. This astonishing model truly takes the Vauen slogan ‘Handmade in Germany’ to a new level. The 2026 annual pipe is all about passionate craftsmanship, with many hard-working, nimble hands involved in its creation. As a traditional distinguishing feature of the limited-edition annual pipes, the ‘crossed pipes’ in sterling silver are individually bent by hand and carefully inserted into the mouthpiece with tweezers. This earns Vauen's Pipe of the Year 2026 ‘superior quality’ rating and highlights more than ever how passion, ingenuity and dedication can turn wood into exquisite masterpieces. Exclusive, limited and individually numbered. Shown here in a half bent Freeform shape and sandblasted finish.
